Export HTML
Summary
WriteItNow can save or export files as HTML. This can be viewed in Web Browsers.When WriteItNow stories are saved as 'HTML' format they contain some layout information. They contain no information about page borders, line spacing, page numbers or headers or footers. In general it is preferable to export files in rtf format.
How to Export in HTML Format
From the 'Export' menu choose 'HTML' or press F10.The following dialog is displayed.
From this select which sections of the story you want to export and the type of fonts to use. These settings are stored.
Press the 'HTML Export' button to export HTML.
This will create a HTML file with the name of your story with the suffix '.htm'
If, for example your story is called 'The Lone Ranger', then a file called 'The Lone Ranger.htm' will be generated.
If you have an application associated with '.htm' files, WriteItNow will now launch the application and load 'The Lone Ranger.htm' into it.
Clicking the 'Reset' button will set all HTML output settings to their defaults.
