Import Text
Summary
To use text you've written in other software in WriteItNow you need to save them as plain text then import them.

WriteItNow can load or import text files. Text editors such as NotePad and most Word Processors can save files as text.
Text files typically have a
.txt suffix
How To Import a Text File
The first step is to create the text file. Many Word Processors have the option to save files as plain text.
This discards all layout information.
To save a Microsoft Word document as text:
[1] Load the document into Word.
[2] From the 'File' menu select 'Save As'
[3] In the 'Save As' dialog set the 'save as type' option to 'Text Only'
[4] Save
The file will be saved as text and will have a
.txt suffix
Importing a text file:
[1] Go to the place where you want to import the text. This could be a new
Chapter.
[2] Select the
Edit Menu.
[3] Select 'Import File'.
[4] Choose the text file.
