Story Conflict

Set the conflict for the beginning, middle and end of each Scene and view this as a graph.

Select this by clicking the Graphs Tab and selecting the  'Story Conflict Graph' sub-tab.

Altering Conflict

You can set the conflict for the start, middle and end of each Scene.

Click on the Set conflict button button to set conflict.  

This displays the following dialog.

 0 = very low conflict.  99 = very high conflict.  Low conflict is shown as white, changing from yellow to orange to red as conflict increases.

Different views

There are three ways to view Scene conflict.

The first shows the  conflict for the beginning, middle and end of each Scene. This is useful if there are less than 20 Scenes.

The second shows the average conflict for each Scene. This is useful if there are less than  60 Scenes.

If there are more than 60 scenes the third option is the most useful. This shows the average conflict for each Chapter.
